Good nursing stoolMay 23, 2010
By B. Blandford I am really glad that I paid a little more to purchase this stool, which can be used for nursing or as a step stool, rather than one that is strictly a nursing stool. I don't use it for nursing as much as I thought I would, although I think I might find it more valuable when my daughter gets a little heavier. But I appreciate that it will still be useful when my daughter is done nursing. It is very easy to assemble - I put it together when I was in labor (literally). I like the finish and it seems to by very good quality. It has some foam tape on the bottom of the feet that got caught in my carpet and left sticky stuff, so if you are going to use it on carpet I would go ahead and remove these right off the bat.

Nursing Stool-WhiteAug 10, 2007

I really like this stool. I had a gliding ottoman previously, and felt like it was always rocking away from me. My friend has this same stool, and I liked it much better! It provided a good place to put your feet, and is of good quality for the price. I will most likely purchase a second one to keep in the living room when another baby comes. Please note that some of the star questions don't apply because they categorized this as a "toy"...I do give it 5 stars overall, however.

Perfect Nursing stoolOct 20, 2008
By C. Allan This stool is exactly what it needs to be, adjustable, easy to use, and sturdy. It was easy to assemble and we can see using it for a long time.

Initial smelly off-gassing; not enough grip for feet in most inclined position; nice variable adjustment; sturdy.Mar 26, 2011
By Margo I summed up main points in the title, but I'll expand here.
Firstly, I'll mention that I also purchased the Medela and my Brest friend nursing stools, so you can read my other reviews there!
The initial smelly off-gassing is now gone (2 months), although I was quite upset about it when it first arrived. The off-gassing from the KidKraft was worse than the Medela and My Brest Friend.
Your feet can easily slip off the footrest, when you're using it in the most-inclined position. The long grooves do a little to help, but really you must use your feet and leg muscles a little to help keep your feet planted on the footrest and not slip off. (Note: I also found this with the Medela; the My Brest Friend has 'sandpaper' strips on top to prevent slippage, but they are not at all comfortable on the bottoms of your feet and will slightly snag your lovely wool socks!).
What I do really like about the KidKraft compared to the My Brest Friend and the Medela is the variable tilt adjustment. It's easy enough to do as often as you like. In the horizontal flat position, it can be a little seat for a small child. Then there are 2 different tilt-angle positions, as well.

Very good quality.Jan 28, 2010
By Lee The quality and finish on the stool is great. We really like the way it looks in our baby's room. We use it with a glider because a friend recommend a stool like this over the expensive gliding ottoman. I think it was a good choice and saved us some money. My wife's only complaint about the stool is that it is a little slippery when she is wearing socks.
