Didn't hold up to one flightJun 22, 2010
By VanityFair Very Disappointed in this bag. Baby Jogger's website states that there is plenty of room for this to hold an extra seat as well, which was how we gate-checked the stroller. We decided to get the bag since the individual components (the base, the two seats) were more likely to get lost or damaged if loaded on separately. Well, by the time we reached our destination (direct flight)there were two tears on the bottom of the bag. While this did not tear to the point of uselessness, this did allow for fraying of one of the seat's canopy edge. I do appreciate the compartments for the wheels so that at least that component cannot get thrashed around but I do wish they made the bag of a higher grade denier and with a reinforced bottom. I will be on the hunt for a better bag. Update: Good customer service. Received new bag. Lined it with duck tape on the inside--just the bottom a few inches past the corners and a little bit up the sides. Has held up because of that, I think. One problem: baggage handlers think this is baggage and not a gate checked stroller and even though it always had a gate check tag on it, more than once it landed up in the baggage claim instead of being brought out to me. Perhaps baggage handlers can't read the large "Baby Jogger" on the side. Maybe Baby Jogger should clearly mark it as a STROLLER GATE CHECK.

Bugaboo Travel Bag works as wellNov 12, 2010
By Dani For those of you that traded in your Bugaboo for the City Select, I wanted to advise that I recently travelled with my city select, and was able to fit it AND the 2 seats inside my Bugaboo travel bag. It was a bit of a squish to jiggle it in, but once I did, it was fantastic, and very well protected. If you have the bugaboo bag already, not worth wasting your money on this one.http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews?ie=UTF8&action=preview

Buyer BewareDec 30, 2010
By Scott H My wife and I recently traveled via airline for the first time with our City Select Stroller which we gate checked using the City Select Carry Bag. The bag lasted only for the outgoing flight. Upon picking it up, the bag had multiple holes in it, the rear wheels had been scuffed and one of the two seats has abrasions. We contacted customer service regarding this and spoke to a woman who informed us the the bag was only for carrying and storage, but not for travel. The website's description of the bag is as follows (emphasis added):
Our Baby Jogger Carry Bags make **traveling with** or storing your stroller or jogger as convenient as possible. The City Select Carry Bag is made with specialized storage compartments to **protect your wheels** and is large enough to accommodate up to two City Select seats. Available in Black only.
Despite clearly mentioning both travel and wheel protection, neither of which the bag was suited for, we are told that Baby Jogger is not responsible for the product. We purchased a luxury stroller expecting durability and quality. I now own a beaten up, $1000 stroller. To say that I am dissatisfied with the product and with their customer service is a vast understatement. To be told that the bag was not intended for travel is an out and out lie. It is on their website in black and white. Buyer beware.

Works wellMay 02, 2011
By R. Esperanzate I recently bought this bag for our first trip with our baby. It held up well and was a convenient way to pack the stroller. While I agree with the other reviewers that the bag could come with a higher grade fabric (given the price), we did not experience any of the tearing or stroller damage that the other people had. You definitely need to Gate Check this bag as I would not trust it going through regular check in. One thing I didn't like was that when the stroller was fully packed, the bag didn't really hold it's shape. I think they should make the bag with reinforced sides/bottom so that it stays "squared" like normal luggage. That way, I think it would minimize the damage that other reviewers have complained about.

False AdvertisingJun 22, 2011
By Beth I purchased this product last year with the assumption that when it says that it is for travel that meant by air as well. Like others mine did not last one leg of the trip. I was annoyed at the time but decided to contact the company recently regarding the issue. Their response was that it was now considered to be a "carry bag" and was not meant for travel. However when I purchased this their description matched all other retailers descriptions that it was meant to store or carry the stroller only. I cannot comprehend how they can sell a 1K dollar stroller and NOT have a bag for it for airlines. I have recommended this stroller to many friends who are also travellers and will make sure that this is NOT a recommendation in the future until they have a bag that can accomodate the city select for air travel. Now I do not expect a totally perfect bag because we all know that airlines can be brutal but to have NOTHING is unbelievable.
