These appliques do not have a solid white background, but a translucent, almost clear background, so the wall color shows through the picture. It's worst on the whites in the picture, which only appear white on the removable backing because the backing is white, but it also affects the lighter colors. These look okay on a light colored wall, but I'd avoid placing these on dark walls. (Note that the giant appliques do have a solid white background and look much better.) They did maintain their peel-and-stick properties during several moves, are easy to handle, and are made with a good quality (not flimsy) vinyl-like material.

Loved them. They make his batman room super cool! Don't seem to fall off the wall but peel off easily if desired.

My nephew loved these. He realized how easy they were to move around so he puts them up and the next day he rearranges them and takes new pictures for me.
My sister loves them cause he can move them and it leaves no sticky or stain on the white walls of his room.

I got these decals for my 4 year old grandson for Christmas. He had just gotten in to his own bedroom and got to choose his color scheme. The walls are black and mustard gold. He loves Batman, so when he opened these decals, he was so excited. They are still up on his wall and show up well on the gold section. The decals are nice and sturdy, can be removed and changed to a new location.

I LIKED THESE DECALS FOR MY SON'S ROOM THEY WERE ECONOMICAL AND I HAVE MOVED THEM AROUND 3 TIMES AND THEY ARE STILL HOLDING UP PRETTY WELL.
