Great SAFE trike...we love it!Feb 26, 2005

OK, I have read the reviews and am puzzled by the conflicting reports. I have six kids and have owned many trikes over the years. This one is by far the best I have seen. I think other reviewers may be reviewing different Radio Flyer trikes. This model comes in the primary or pastel colors, although the pastel is hard to find. It is very stable and I could not get it to tip with even very firm pressure. The handle bars do not turn all the way around, they lock safely before anything dangerous would happen. My daughter is 2.5 and was able to climb on and pedal right in the store. We have been all over the neighborhood this past week and she has not fallen once. My neighbor's 18 month old daughter tried it this afternoon and while she had a tough time figuring out the pedals, there was no sign of tipping or danger. This trike is obviously styled after the Kettler and I think they did a great job at a great price. The trike comes fully assembled and folds for travel. It can even be folded and hung on a hook in the garage. I paid $40 for this trike and I think it is a fabulous find!!

Similar to Kettler but at a much better priceSep 11, 2004

When we first started searching for a tricycle for my 20 month old daughter we wanted to get the best one possible so naturally we started looking at kettlers. While looking at them at our local toy r us store my daughter found this one and would not get off of it. So my husband and I started to read about it and found that it had most of the features of a Kettler tricycle, no tip turn radius, the high back seat, the seat has a 3 postion adjust and it even had some cutesy features on it like the bell and handle bar tassels that you have to pay extra for on a kettler. The only thing missing is the push bar which we really didn't need because my daughter started pedaling the bike before we left the store.

Classic Radio Flyer That Is Portable and A Big Hit!!!May 31, 2004
I bought this trike for my 1 1/2 year old and just loves it. It is fully assemble and easy to collapse making it portable to take with us in the car. My son just loves to push the tricycle around. He hasn't quite figured out pedaling yet, but it's easy for him to push it with his feet. I haven't seen anything to lead me to worry about it tipping. This bike is much more attractive then some of the plastic models out there.

My Grandson First BikeNov 05, 2004
By Mom-Mom My grandson just turned 2 years old and wanted a bike. I broused Toys R Us and found this Trike. When I brought him to the store he went crazy. He just loves it and puts his "sippy's" in the back of the trike. It is the best toy I could have bought him. It folds up so you can take it anywhere.

Try it out in the store FIRST!!Nov 23, 2005

This trike was one of the top choices for a Christmas gift for my 27 month old son. The ages say 18 months -4 years, but there is no way is that possible. My son is 36inches tall and too big for this trike. When he tried to get on the trike holding on to the handle bars, it tipped over. I thought he did something wrong, so i placed him on the bike, then he tried to push forward on the handles bars to get his feet to go and the trike tipped again. I would most definitely try it out. I did put my son on the bigger version of this Trike , the fold n go XL, but he was too short to reach the pedals, but atleast if offers more room for growth.
